MANAGEMENT TEAM
Dan Collins
President
Dan Collins is a career telecommunications veteran. Dan's incredible depth of experience and knowledge of the industry has helped to shape Summatis into the support, pre-sales design, and engineering organization today.
Dan began his career with Nortel as a cable puller and technician. Dan has held Level 2 & 3 Technical positions at NCS, Nynex and NextiraOne. Collins holds a wide variety of certifications and accreditations. His knowledge base encompasses virtually every aspect of Nortel product and service ranging from small business solutions through enterprise multiple location deployments.
Dan resides in Cumberland, Rhode Island with his wife Stacie and children.
Michelle Brockney
Vice President / Operations
Michelle Brockney joined Summatis Communications in August 2006 as the Vice President Operations.
Prior to joining Summatis, Ms. Brockney was Director of Sales in the Boston/New England Market for Intellispace. Ms. Brockney brings over 10 years of experience in Sales, Client Support, and Management in the data/telecommunications industry. Prior to joining IntelliSpace, Ms. Brockney was the Director of Client Relations for Conversent Communications. Her responsibilities included oversight of all facets of service management, the evolution of service-related departments, and management of strategic decisions for retention, customer support, and order management.
Ms. Brockney successfully attained the highest levels of client retention, while consistently increasing annual revenue and customer growth. Ms. Brockney also worked with Teleglobe Business Solutions, an international data/long-distance provider. She had responsibilities for maintaining and growing both the direct and agent channel divisions within the New England and Midwestern markets.
Ms. Brockney earned her B.S.B.A in Marketing from Nichols College in Dudley Massachusetts.
Tony D'Aurora
Vice President / Sales
Tony D'Aurora has been an executive with Summatis since December 2007. As the Vice President of Sales, Tony is an integral member of the executive management team at Summatis where he leads five Regional Sales and Engineering teams and the Cabling Sales and Engineering team.
Along with managing a team of sales professionals and systems engineers, Tony's skills and vision help provide Summatis' customers and partners with voice and data communication systems, software and services that are required in todays corporate IT environments across North America.
Tony has a distinguished history of success in technological sales and sales management. Prior to joining Summatis, Tony spent time with NJ based Avaya, Inc. where he was the Global Account Manager for key Fortune 500 customers.
In addition, Tony spent 10 years working for MA-based NetScout Systems, Inc. where he was the Northeast Regional Sales Manager. Tony helped build a Sales and Engineering team within the Northeast Region (including Canada) in providing NetScout's customers and resellers with the network performance management products and services to Fortune 1000 companies.
With over 20 years of experience providing computer, voice and data communication systems to Fortune 1000 companies, Canadian Top 60, Global 500, Forbes Private 500, local U.S. and Canadian governmental agencies, Telco's, OEMs, Systems Integrators, Resellers and Distributors, Tony offers a unique blend of business and technical knowledge that is a benefit to Summatis and Summatis' customers.
Tony holds a BA from Suffolk University with a concentration in Government/Pre-Law.
Tony considers himself to be a "student of sales." For the past twenty years, he has immersed himself in learning the art of sales and sales management by attending dozens of professional sales trainings and by reading hundreds of books and listening to tapes on the subject. Tony continues to "sharpen his saw" when it comes to sales and sales management skills.
Tony lives in suburban MA. In giving something back to his community, Tony contributes his time and talents as the co-owner of The Football Boot Camp, a non-profit organization that uses the great game of football to teach children life skills. In addition, Tony serves on the Board of Directors of his local Pop Warner football team as well as volunteers as an assistant coach at a local high school.
